Do you know that you can do and be anything you want? That you have the power to create your future? You make the decisions that shape your life. You are making one now. To know and accept that this is not the right time in your life to raise a child and yet to choose to carry this child and then give this child up for adoption to someone unable to conceive her own is selfless and beautiful. I'll do my best to be a wonderful Mom and believe it would be an honor to have your trust and friendship while raising this child.
I admire the choice you have made, the struggle to make this decision, and the love and responsibility you feel for your unborn baby. I know you have hopes and dreams for him or her, and for yourself. Tell me what they are and I will share my hopes and dreams with you.
Open Adoption ...
In whatever capacity you are comfortable, I want you to be involved in this baby's life. I want this child to know who you are, that you are the birthmother, the one who chose to give life. By being in his/her life, this child will always know and feel the unconditional love from you and me throughout his or her lifetime. And, I would like you and me to be friends.
KyleI was truly blessed to adopt Kyle on March 2 2004. He is an amazing child and I feel very fortunate to have made friends with and become a part of his birthfamily's lives! His birth mother and father, or his 1st mother and father as he refers to them, are great people - generous, loving, and reallly genuine. We talk often and I email photos all the time.
Kyle is a total charmer, out-going, fun, and always ready for a good game of anything. He is very ready to share his life with a brother or a sister.
My promise to you…
I have a tremendous amount of love to give this baby and will make sure that his/her life is filled with fun and
laughter, support and stability. I promise I will give this baby, your baby, a lifetime of loving and nurturing. I promise to instill strong moral values and teach him or her to treat all people and animals with kindness and respect and not judge anyone because of race, religion, or anything else. I will share all that I am, all that I have, and all the goodness that is in my life! The first few years are very important developmental years and the bond that is created in those first years will shape our relationship for the rest of our lives. I want an open and loving relationship with my children, full of honesty and communication. I will take the time to understand what his/her needs are, cries are for, wants are. I will respect my baby, read to my baby, play with my baby, and buy my baby the cutest clothes. I will stimulate my baby's mind with color, music, stories, smells, touch, and taste and proviide this exceptional child with an excellent education. And I promise, he or she will know your love.
